Yeah! One of the most anticipated albums for this 2012 is already here. And I have to say that at first listening it sounds a little bit..."dark wave"? Listening songs as "ode to sad disco", "harborview hospital" or "gray goes black" it looks like if you were listening Peter Murphy, or bands as Trembling Blue Stars. This is not bad, because the voice of mr.Lanegan still being here. His immense voice and highlights as "st louis elegy", "phantasmagoria blues" or "deep black vanishing train" make this album, once again, a jewel, and surely, from now on, one of the best albums of this year. I let you proudly with Mark Lanegan and his band.

Magnus Pelander - EP (2010)

1.- A Sinner´s Child
2.- Hope
3.- You Have Got NO Friends To Turn To
4.- Stardust

Solo ep of Magnus Pelander, guitarist and vocalist of Witchcraft. What we can find here is something more folkie and psychedelic, altough we can find some sounds closer to what Witchcraft does. Good, hippie, easy, and fresh work. A good way to wait while the new Witchcraft´s record arrives.

Mark Lanegan (or The Voice) goes on with the third album  together with Isobel Campbell. Following the steps of their past works, the duo combines the powerful and deep voice of Lanegan with the most sweet and smooth voice of Campbell, besides some collaborations like Willy Mason. Of course it is not the best project, and certainly nor the best Lanegan´s album but still remains a good choice. Also we can find a couple of covers of  Townes Van Zandt, "Snake Song" and "No Place To Fall".
