This is ROCK´n´ROLL! Roky Erickson, founding member of 13th Floor Elevators, this time together with the Aliens, recorded one of those perfects albums, from the begining until the end. His unique voice, the way that he sings and the special feeling of the songs make this album a little masterpiece of rock. Enjoy it!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat album - some of his recording are pretty poor quality or just live tapes but this is probably his best work.
ReplyDeleteInitially, I wasn't that into Roky Erickson. Chalk it up to youthful folly. Eventually, it all clicked and now I really dig on his brand of weirdness. It's a soft spot for schizophrenics in rock and roll.
