They´re back again! The chiefs of the new southern sound, introduces to us his third album, wich follows the steps of their lasts two works. It means, very good riff and solo guitars, fantastic vocals (a couple of songs are sung by his drummer) and the gorgeous southern feelin the wrap all the album. Also there is some new ingredients, as the funky song "everyone´s going fishing", and with some other elements that enrich the music. Highly recommended, again.

October File - Holy Armour From The Jaws Of God (2007)

1. Munitions Crusade
2. In My Magnificent Circus

4. Another Day
5. Hallowed Be Thy Army

I think the we can see this band and this album as the perfect mix of the trully post-hardcore sound, some of metal, and noise rock. In fact one of the best albums that I´ve heard with that kind of ingredients. His music is intense, furious, contundent and direct. A good example of this, is the brutal "high octane climate changer", mind blowing! Plus a social and political lyrics and of course the awesome cover art. Highly recommended!

New album of these blackers from Madrid. They play a very dirty and chaotic black metal in style of bands as Blasphemy, Beherit or Teitanblood. If you like that kind of extrem sound you´re gonna enjoy this album.

John Zorn - Mount Analogue (2012)

1.- Mount Analogue (Feat. Cyro Baptista, Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz, Tim Keiper, Brian Marsella & Kenny Wollesen) 38:21

Mr.Zorn is back with this one-song album, full oriental soundscapes, contemporany music passages and the experimentation that always goes with him. This is performed by Cyro Baptista's Banquet of the Spirits quartet: Shanir Blumenkranz, Tim Keiper, and Brian Marsella, with Kenny Wollesen on vibes and chimes. This work is close to the Film Works series. As always, a pleasure.
